Take control and take Solgar Advanced Acidophilus Plus. Always in stock at Arnold Supplements
Solgar Advanced Acidophilus Plus is an easy way for you to meet your digestive needs. It provides four select strains of viable, dairy-free microflora: L.acidophilus, B.bifidum, L. bulgaricus, and B. longum.
Together, these friendly bacteria help you maintain a healthy environment in your digestive tract by improving digestion of lactose and absorption of B vitamins. Working in both the small and large intestines, Solgar advanced acidophilus plus produces organic acids which lower the pH. This helps control the undesirable bacteria and allows the beneficial bacteria to flourish. In addition, 40+ Acidophilus is resistant to stomach acid, so it can survive passage to the gastrointestinal tract where it is needed.
The addition of B. longum (Bifidobacterium longum) makes Solgar Advanced Acidophilus Plus a complete and truly unique product. Chances are you may be missing B. longum which is naturally introduced to the body in infants through mother's milk. As we age, this highly stable strain of beneficial bacteria becomes even more important to our health. Studies show it is one of the most dominant microorganisms in the digestive tract of healthy mature adults. Solgar advanced acidophilus plus provides this important microflora.
It's all vegetarian. But that's only half the story.
Solgar Advanced Acidophilus Plus is the only encapsulated acidophilus product available that is suitable for vegetarians because it is available in Vegicaps, Solgar's own patented vegetarian capsule. Vegicaps are made from all-natural, water-soluble plant fiber, making it the perfect capsule for an acidophilus supplement.
Each Solgar Advanced Acidophilus Plus Vegicap is prepared starting with over 1 billion microorganisms. Natural citrus pectin cellulose is added as a source of soluble dietary fiber to promote the growth of these beneficial bacteria. Solgar's 40+ Acidophilus Vegicaps supply a synergistic blend of the four beneficial microorganisms L. acidophilus, L. bulgaricus B. bifidum and B. longum, helping to restore and maintain a normal flora in the intestinal tract. L. acidophilus and L. bulgaricus reside in the small intestine while B. bifidum and B. longum primarily reside in the small intestine while B. bifidum and B. longum primarily reside in the large intestine. Our specially designed formula is milk and dairy free and contains citrus pectin, a soluble dietary fiber.
Solgar Advanced Acidophilus Plus is available in 60, 120, and 240 vegetable capsules.
