How to use a neti pot:

Pour saline solution (8 fluid ounces of warm water with a heaping tablespoon of non-iodized salt (available in your local supermarket or pharmacy).

Tilt your head to the side and insert the spout into your upper nostril as shown in the picture above.

Lift the netty pot so the saline solution that you prepared flows directly into the nostril and out the lower nostril.
