1. Prepare the nasal pot by pouring in the saline solution (8 ounces of warm water and a heaping quarter teaspoon of non-iodized salt).
2. Turn your head sideways and insert the neti pot spout into your upper nostril (see picture above).
3. Raise the neti pot so that the saline solution flows directly into the nose and out of your other (lower) nostril.
