Product Description

Clif Bars, Box of 12
Clif Bar Nutrition Soy Protein Energy bars
We want a simple approach in an energy bar—not complicated formulas or gimmicks. Don’t you? It’s just an approach that makes sense.

CLIF BARS are a great-tasting, convenient source of energy for any activity.

The Natural Energy Bar®
To perform at your best, the last thing you want to put in your body is a synthetic product.

That’s why we believe in using healthy ingredients, such as organic rolled oats, organic roasted soybeans, organic milled flaxseed and organic soy flour. All 14 CLIF BAR flavors are made with 70% organic ingredients.

Nutrition for Sustained Energy®
With a mix of carbohydrates, protein, and fiber, CLIF BAR is a moderate glycemic index food. What does this mean? Basically, you'll benefit from a steady increase in blood sugar levels followed by a gradual decline (sustained energy!).

Know what that means? You keep going.

Eat a CLIF BAR 1 – 2 hours before a workout or race, and you’ll avoid the sugar high and crash associated with refined ingredients and sweeteners. A CLIF BAR delivers the boost you need without unwanted crash and burn.

You don’t have to be an athlete to enjoy a CLIF BAR, but with the extra energy a CLIF BAR provides you may find it hard not to be.

Who knew energy could taste this good?
CLIF BAR FAQ
Q: Can you eat CLIF BARS if you are allergic to nuts?
A: No, all CLIF BAR flavors may contain traces of nuts.

Q: Is there any caffeine in CLIF BARS?
A: Yes, there are 3-5 mg of caffeine in Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Brownie, Chocolate Chip Peanut Crunch, Chocolate Almond Fudge and Cookies 'n Cream. Chocolate naturally contains a trace amount of caffeine. Cool Mint Chocolate and Peanut Toffee Buzz each contain 50mg of caffeine from green tea extract.

Q: Why is there no dairy in your chocolate?
A: Not all chocolate has dairy. We use semi-sweet chocolate, the main ingredient of which is cocoa butter.

A: No, baking powder helps CLIF BARS rise.

Q: What is the difference between whole rice syrup and brown rice syrup?
A: Whole rice syrup refers to rice syrup derived from unprocessed kernels of rice, either brown or white. Brown rice syrup is derived solely from kernels of brown rice.

Q: What is rice crisp? Is it baked or puffed?
A: Rice crisp is puffed rice.

Q: Are CLIF BARS kosher?
A: Yes, CLIF BARS are Kosher Dairy. There are no dairy products in our bars however, the vendor we purchase our non-dairy chocolate chips from makes chips containing dairy in the same building.

Q: Is there any gluten in your bars? What is gluten?
A: Yes, while CLIF BARS are wheat-free, they are not gluten-free. Oats and barley malt contain a natural amount of gluten. Gluten is an elastic protein substance naturally occurring in most grains.

Q: What are the sources of Omega-3's in CLIF BAR?
A: Omega-3's come in different forms from various foods. CLIF BAR contains omega-3's in the form of alpha linoleic acid (ALA) from organic flaxseed and walnuts. ALA is converted Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosapentaenoic acid (DHA), forms of omega-3's readily used by the body (found in fish such as salmon, cod, and tuna). There is a growing body of evidence that suggests EPA and DHA can help to lower cholesterol and decrease inflammation both of which are associated with promoting heart health.
