Gentle iron supplements are for people who need iron supplementation. Three groups of people my benefit the most from iron supplements: people that have a greater need for iron, people who do not absorb iron normally, and people who tend to lose alot of iron. These groups may include: teenage females, women of child bearing age (especially with heavy menstrual cycles), women who are pregnant, premature or low birth-weight babies, and people with kidney ailments.
